.A very attractive and well-situated apartment complex just a hop and a skip from Estepona Marina. This complex takes up a whole block, and is quite large. In the centre it has some attractive planting and two swimming pools in a limited size garden. The site is very well maintained by Luis and his team of gardeners/handymen.The complex is built on a slope - the slope is particularly pronounced if you have to walk up the Calle Reina Sofia to get to your apartment, so do be aware of this if you find walking uphill difficult. The main entrance to the site is on the Calle Naranjo, up a less steep hill, and this is where the mailboxes are too. This entrance is just across the road from a series of (broken) steps leading straight down to the SuperSol supermarket, so very handy. Some of the ground floor apartments backing onto Calle Naranjo are, due to the slope, quite low down, with rising ground outside them. As this side also looks more or less north, I reckon that their entrance will be cool in summer if a bit gloomy in the rooms looking that way. At the front they are fronting onto the calle Naranjo and south facing with lovely sunny terraces overlooking the road, but which does not get much traffic. Not all apartments face the gardens - some look on to the back of other apartments, so find out exactly where any apartment is, and its outlook, before booking if you would prefer an open or sunny outlook. There are half a dozen underground garages, but the parking places are limited and by no means all apartments have one. Parking is not too bad in the surrounding streets, depending on the time of year.It is approximately 3 minutes walk to the Marina, with loads of bars and restaurants catering to the foreign tourist market. The big La Rada beach is just another few minutes further. past the fishing port, along the seafront promenade. Walking into town takes about 20 minutes. The 79 bus stop - to go to San Pedro, Puerto Banus and Marbella - is just down the hill, and in the other direction there is also a 240 bus stop for going to Sabinillas and la Linea - the latter being the town for walking across the border to Gibraltar. This is one of the very few tourist complexes with pool that can honestly be said to be within walking distance of the Centro Historico and all its pretty streets and Spanish bars and restaurants. As such, it doesn't have a large open area garden found further out, since space is at a premium in this area. But it has a lot going for it.The hill is the major drawback for some people..
Great apartments, area in close walk distance to marina which has plenty restaurants and bars for day and evening.
Fantastisk utsikt over havet
Volveria siempre
